May He Never Be Forgotten
TWIN TOWERS WORKER MOURNED IN QUEENS
By MAGGIE HABERMAN
June 23, 2002 -- James Cartier, a young electrician who perished in the World Trade
Center, was remembered in an emotional funeral service yesterday as a man
who embraced life.
"Sept. 11, 2001, was not the final chapter in James' book of life," Michael Cartier said
of his brother, who would have turned 27 yesterday, during the service at Our Lady of
Fatima church in Queens. "James is here with us."
Cartier was working on the 105th floor of the south tower on Sept. 11. "The depth of
our sorrow and pain is immeasurable," said his sister, Jennie Farrell.
